Amway Global is partnering with the YMCA on a "State of Wellness" consumer education campaign that will help build healthier communities across America. The jointly sponsored campaign will offer a variety of initiatives designed to improve the state of wellness for individuals and communities, including free wellness assessments at participating YMCAs.
The YMCA is dedicated to building healthy spirit, mind and body for all, which is a philosophy that Amway Global is proud to support. The YMCA's holistic approach to health also is an excellent fit with the Nutrilite philosophy of optimal health, which is about making healthy choices in nutrition, rest, exercise, and all lifestyle choices.
More than 72 million households in the U.S. are located within three miles of a YMCA. Their tremendously broad reach provides Amway the opportunity to help improve the lifestyles of millions of Americans, while sharing our own philosophy of optimal health.
The national, year-long campaign will include on-site wellness events at the YMCA and online educational tools, as well as specific elements to reach teens. It will be supported with a series of advertorials in Newsweek magazine and in-YMCA communications.
The State of Wellness partnership with the YMCA is just the latest demonstration of Amway Global's investment to help raise public awareness of our business, opportunity, and products in North America. As we transition to the Amway Global name, we are making unprecedented efforts to also build awareness for Nutrilite and Artistry by investing in a multi-million dollar advertising campaign and high-profile sponsorships, such as the YMCA partnership.
