Amway India and Reddiffusion DYR win Gold Pencil award

At the recently held One Show Design Awards 2008 in New York Rediffusion DYR, Delhi, won a gold pencil for its campaign titled ‘The Birds’ for Amway India. The annual design awards are a part of the prestigious One Show Festival Week held every year.
Creative director Daniel Upputuru said, “The idea stems from the fact that birds often dirty/attack our cars when parked in the open. We used ravens, which were "attacking" a car parked under a lamp post. Later, we suggested that the Amway car cleaning solution could take care of that problem. The visual was inspired from the cult movie The Birds by Alfred Hitchcock.
